Melanie became a portrait photographer after working in the fashion industry. Throughout her career in design, she was always very involved in the styling and planning of photoshoots to create beautiful images that captured the essence of each brand. This has inspired her to create timeless editorial-style family portraits that are both playful and full of connection.

After becoming a mother to her two loveable boys, her true inspiration, she learnt how beautiful and fragile pregnancy can be and the importance of preserving all of the moments in life. Melanie works with both natural and artificial light to capture love, emotion and all of the authentic, candid moments that happen in between. Her aim is to create beautiful, timeless images that will be treasured for years to come.
